IMTTrak is a software application that incorporates image tracking,
image analysis, and data management information for the analysis
of carotid artery ultrasound images. IMTTrak is capable of reading
DICOM images and clips as well as digitizing VHS images for studies
that were not originally stored in DICOM format. IMTTrak allows
for the quantitative and qualitative analysis of study images. Image
analysis can be performed for inclusion/exclusion criteria assessment,
on an ongoing basis throughout the study, or as a batch analysis
as subjects complete the study. All analyses can be performed in
a blinded fashion based on study-specific requirements.
Sonographer feedback and reporting are an integrated part of
the system, which provides timely comments to the imaging centers
to identify and correct potential problems with the imaging process.
This also provides ongoing status reporting for Sponsors to track
the progress of the study. Data is centrally stored for both the
European and US reading centers, therefore, facilitating the ongoing
quality assurance and quality control procedures required for
a project.
IMTTrak uses state-of-the-art validated technologies. It is fully
validated and meets 21 CFR Part 11 criteria and adheres to US and
international requirements.
